RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ACADEMIC RESILIENCE AND INTERNET ADDICTION OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS OF PURULIA DISTRICT OF WEST BENGAL: A STUDY

Academic resilience is defined as the capacity to cope with academic problems, such stress, failure, and boredom. Internet addiction compulsive use of internet that has negative effects interfere daily life. The present study aims explore relationship between undergraduate students Purulia district West Bengal. It a Descriptive survey type research. Data for been collected randomly from 100 selected two colleges (J. K. College & Nistarini College) Bengal applying Resilience Scale (2016) including 30 items by Cassidy Addiction (1998) 20 Dr. Kimberly S. Young. data analyzed using descriptive statistics like mean, standard deviation, variance, skewness, kurtosis, inferential ‘t’ test Mann Whitney U test. result revealed have no significant relationship. A difference observed in boys girls, but resilience. Locality impact both addiction. KEYWORDS: resilience, addiction, students, failure.
